I know every one waits to see what fine clothes the Goose on the Porch will put on for the season. He is dressed in his Easter finest, a matching top hat and tails of a spriny blue with a vest of spring colors over his white shirt and bow tie. He carries a basket of eggs to distribute as he has taken the place of the Easter Bunny. He has the ears of the dead bunny on his hat.

An American Girl in Paris

Yes, I am going to Europe! Thanks for blowing the secret Beel. Just kidding. I just haven't had time to get on this thing and let you guys know.
So, I'm leaving on April 8th and I'm not coming back until April 21st. I'm going with Ashley Moore. She is oversees studying in Spain right now and she has a break and wants to travel. So, after a lot of consideration and convincing myself that it's okay not to spend my money on something "responsible", I decided to go with her.
Ashley and I have booked all of our flights, trains, and accomodations. We still have a lot to figure out, but at least we have all the important stuff taken care of. While there, we are going to spend time in Paris, Rome, Venice, and Prague. I'm so excited some days I could just burst. Other days I feel like it hasn't really hit me yet. One of my dreams is coming true and I just can't wrap my mind around it quite yet.
So, in answer to your question Beel, no... I am not taking my laptop. Ashley has suggested that we only bring one backpack. (we still have to talk about that because I'm not too crazy about that idea.) But I will not be lugging around a laptop while over there. But, most of the hostels we are staying at have internet access, so I promise that I will let you all know how things are going.

Here he is!

So here he is. We did name him "Oreo". I was leaning towards Panda becasue his face looks like a panda bear. Aviana finally agreed to Oreo when I showed her what an Oreo was. As you can see she is a proud mama. She had him wrapped in the blanket, rocking and singing to him. She also told him that she is his mommy now. I think she likes him.

IT'S A BOY!

We were told yesterday that our puppy is ready to come home!
Before Cindie (Our friend Jamie's mom) passed she tried to get her Shih Tzu pregnant. After she passed it was apparent that Mitsie her favorite Shih Tzu was going to have babies. So the family said they think Cindie would have asked us to take one because our kids always played with her dogs when we visited and that made her happy. So we said sure. We were already thinking about getting a puppy but did not want to pay the outrageous prices. The hospital bill for delivery would cost less for me to give birth than to buy a puppy. We will be bringing him home this weekend. We are not sure what exactly he looks like so I posted these pictures. He is black and white like his mama Mitzie.


So....What I am asking is........anyone want to help with a name?
