Amanda Sings for Katrina Relief
Saturday night there was a Katrina Relief Concert held at the Memorial Hall in Valporasio, Indiana. Three bands performed. The first band was from the Valpo Presbyterian Church. They were good muscians but poor singers. Nice.
The second band was Shine The Light from the Daybreak Church. They were fantastic. The featured singer was none other than our Amanda Gaiser. This band rocked, and she shone. Her mother was beaming with pride. Over $1600 was collected for Habitat for Humanity's Katrina Relief Fun. And I had a great time.
The thrid band was...well...they tried hard...Oh boy, were they bad!

Uh.... excuse me! We didn't ALL have a great time. I mean, I had a GREAT time hearing Amanda. I know I'm biased, but Amanda was far and away the BEST thing about that concert. All these other people just THOUGHT they could sing. Oh, and there was a really hot guy in the first band so I didn't really mind looking at him.
