My CD - so exciting

Hi all. Well I just got an email from my music pastor at church and he sent me this link http://cdbaby.com/cd/daybreakvh that will bring you right to a site that you can buy the CD. The CD should also be available on bestbuy.com in about 3 weeks. The best part about the whole thing is that you can listen to a sample of some of the songs on cdbaby.com and the song that i sing the verses on #8 is one that you can listen to! I'm on the internet! Woo Hoo!!!

First in Family to be RECORDED!

Can't wait any longer! I have been waiting for Amanda to post this exciting news herself and now it is over a week and the 'proud mom' in me can't wait any longer!

Amanda is the first in our family of singers to be recorded!

The church they attend produced and worship CD and she sings throughout it and is spot lighted on cut #8-The Potter's Hands. It is great! The child can really WAIL! (Granted the CD is not perfect...she should have been spot lighted on all of the cuts, but I was not the producer.!)

So when you come this weekend, make sure you bring an extra $11 and arrange with Amanda to have your own personal, signed copy there so you can listen to cut #8 all the way home!

Emmett in the Hospital

Wanted to pass on the info that Emmett has been in the hospital. He had a small surgery and will have another today as yesterday's did not work. From what I can tell after shifting through my mother's conversation and medical translation...is that his kidneys are working over time and are not draining in to the bladder. Yesterday they attempted to put a shunt in to open things up and could not because something hard was blocking it. (So they took a biopsy of that. I think the blockage is in the kidney.) So they looked at the bladder and said that was in bad shape too. So today they are putting a tube in the kidney, to be ran outside of the body to bypass the bladder. (?) (Details get real hazy with my mother on these things.) If this doesn't work then it's dialysis from here on out. Added element of this is, (which I don't think my mother is giving it's credit due), that they had to give him 2 pints of blood before all this. He is bleeding somewhere. They have already done the regular checks on where is could be, but came up with nothing. Two pints is a lot of blood to not know where it's going. At the least this sounds like kidney failure to me and possible cancer. Wanted to let you know.
